Final Major Project; research, experiments and the exhibition

Below is a sample of the work that went into creating my final project of the Foundation course. Working to begin with mainly in plaster, I was interested in how pieces of art can change over time, and how I could manipulate that as an artist. I used the idea of processes to explore ways of reworking pieces, and then compared my resultant drawings with the site plan sketches used by archaeologists which I had come across during my research.

The paint project

Looking at different uses of paint, but somehow turning it into a home made frame and fabric project instead. Experiments with latex, oil paint, tensile and non-tensile fabrics and cotton thread.
